Locater & Folded Wings
![]() This is my wife and a grandson and in the background is the Collings Foundation aircraft now known as The American and formerly known as The Dragon and its Tail. { GO TO THE COLLINGS FOUNDATION WEB PAGE B-24 Best Web - W.W.II B-24 Liberator
THEY HAVE SEVERAL VINTAGE AIRCRAFT AND SHOW A SCHEDULE AS TO WHEN THEY WILL BE IN YOUR LOCALE.} My grandson, Joshua, was all over the aircraft and I must admit he did it easier than I. Even easier than I did when I was 18. At that time it was a large aircraft [Heavy] and all carried (H) in the orders and addresses a few months later the "H" would be dropped as the B-29 took over as the sky giant.
CAN YOU HELP ME LOCATE THE FOLLOWING CREW MEMBERS OR FURNISH ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THEM?
![]() SGT. T.J..Caddel Jr. 37411193 Tailgunner lived in Illinois near the Training base called George AAF across the Wabash River from Vincennes IN. However, searches of that area and Lawrenceville IL have not located him. I would like to contact him, a relative, or anyone that knew him .
TSGT Arthur Griggs 12047297 was originally from PA. ![]() He was last heard of while he was at Chanute AAF in 1945. Plans had been made to marry a IL girl whose first name was Gladys. She resided in the Peoria or Joliet , IL area. The picture on the right was taken by her while we were on a furlough just prior to departure for overseas assignment. He did have a sister who was living in Harrisburg,PA area in 1944.
![]() LT Robert M Price 0752581 was from Texas. He did not return with any of our crew members and no one has made contact with him. I would like make contact with him , a family member,or anyone that knew him

Angelo Muscarello
![]() TSGT Angelo T. Muscarello 32683894 lived in long Island NY. He moved to FL in the Jacksonville or St. Petersburg area. Today 25 Dec 03 : I learned that he and his wfe Olga reside in Port Charlotte Fla. In 1944 -I sent a list of groceries to my family so our crew could have a party at the completion of Crew 48's tour (I still had a few missions remaining). This grocery list was the only letter I got out of England that my family could read. (I still remember that at the head of the list was Joan of Ark kidney beans. ) Even though food was rationed, the members of my family were able to gather many of the items requested (especially the kidney beans) and the enlisted members of the crew had a feast cooked by TSGT Muscarello on the little pot-belly stove used to heat the hut .

Does anyone remember Capt. Tom Maye M.D.? He told good stories & had many pictures of his time in England. I'm just wondering & reminiscing about Dad since I've been watching Ken Burns' documentary on WWII. Thanks & God Bless You! Maggie Maye
Note:from webmaster: Dr Maye was the one who cared for me after the Hamm flight in my Missions listings
